ماں بیٹی سے: ایک بار تمہارے ابا مجھ سے کہنے لگے‘ ذرا سوچ کر بتاﺅ کہ مرد شادی کیوں کرتاہے؟ میں تو سچ مچ سوچ میں پڑ گئی‘ مہینے بعد حساب کرو تو بیوی کا خرچاچار باہر والی عورتوں سے زیادہ ہوتا ہے لیکن مرد پھر بھی شادی کرتا ہے‘ شادی پر لاکھوں کا خرچا اور ہمت سے زیادہ بیویوں کے ٹشن پورے کر کے دکھاتا ہےاس کے لئے چھت ڈھونڈتا ہے‘ اس کے آرام کےلئے جتن کرتا ہے‘ دھوپ میں کڑھتا ہے‘ محنت کی بھٹی میں جلتا ہے‘ کبھی ضرورت پڑے تو اس کےلئے کبھی اپنا انا بیچ دیتا ہے

اور کبھی اپنی چمڑی بیچ دیتا ہے ‘پتا ہے کیوں؟ تم پوچھو نا کیوں؟ بیٹی:ڈرتے ڈرتے ماں سے پوچھتی ہے‘ کیوں؟ ماں: کیونکہ مرد کی یہ والی عادت خدا جیسی ہے‘ اب دیکھو نا خدا کو کیا ضرورتکیا ضرورت تھی کھربوں انسان پیدا کرتا؟ اور پھر ان کے کھانے پینے رہنے کی چیزیں مہیا کرتا؟ لیکن شاید ضرورت تھیاسے‘ وہ چاہتا تھا کہ کوئی مخلوق ایسی ہو جو پوجا کرے اس کی‘ جو سجدہ کرے اس کے نام پر‘ پھر جتنی کوئی پوجا کرے گا اس کی وہ اتنا ہی خیال رکھے گا اس کا۔ اور سب کچھ دے دینے کے بعد کہا کہ میں رحمن ہوں ‘ میں رحیم ہوں‘ سب گناہ معاف کروں گا لیکن شرک کبھی معاف نہیں کروں گا۔ بس خدا نے اپنی یہی عادت مرد کے خون میں ڈال دی ہے۔۔
